This is the next revision of the Privacy Policy. It is published here for review only. Nobody is asked to agree to a draft, and the policy currently in force is still the approved version 1.0.

PROPOSED CHANGES FROM VERSION 1.0

1. Retention is stated per record type rather than in general terms - for example, payment records are kept for seven years from the transaction date.
2. Data subject rights get an explicit response time of 30 days.
3. A named contact for privacy requests replaces the school-administrator route.
4. Consent is recorded per policy version, so agreeing to this draft in future will not be confused with agreeing to the version in force today.

1. WHO WE ARE

ALL SCHOOLS operates a platform that lets schools publish classes, courses, course units and lessons, and lets students enrol in them.

2. WHAT WE COLLECT

Account details, school affiliation, enrolment and payment records, and technical data such as IP address and browser type. The specific retention period for each of these is listed in section 5.

3. WHY WE COLLECT IT

To run your account, show you what your school publishes, take and record payments, and keep the platform secure.

4. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

Your school, and payment providers where a transaction requires it. We do not sell personal information.

5. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

• Account details: life of the account, plus 12 months.
• Enrolment records: life of the enrolment.
• Payment and transaction records: 7 years from the transaction date.
• Technical logs: 90 days.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

You may ask us to correct, export or delete your information. We respond to such a request within 30 days. Where financial record-keeping rules require us to retain a transaction record, we will explain what we are keeping and why.

7. COOKIES

A session cookie keeps you signed in. A second cookie remembers your choice on the consent form. No advertising trackers are used.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

A new version is published on approval and the previous one is retained so that the version each user agreed to can always be identified.
